Alba Quezada

Alba Quezada is a Designated Linklater Teacher and has performed in operas, musicals, and on the recital stage throughout the United States and in Europe.  Favorite highlights are: original cast member of Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, the title role of Frida Kahlo at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Maria in West Side Story at the Teatro Tivoli in Barcelona, and the role of Liu in the MGM film Yes, Giorgio! starring Pavarotti.  She is also the featured soprano on the recording, The Music of Carlos Chavez: Vol. 3, a Grammy nominated recording for Best Classical Album in 2005.  Ms. Quezada is an Associate Professor of Voice and Speech in the MFA program at the New School for Drama and also teaches voice, speech, and singing at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York City.
