Diane is a professional actor/director whose work centers on Shakespeare, new plays, alternative soundscapes, and international theatre practices.  A company member with the Heartland Actors’ Repertory Theatre, recent credits include Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing and Nerissa in The Merchant of Venice.  Recent Phoenix Theatre credits include Bug and November.  Diane has worked at the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Ohio’s Human Race Theatre, Chicago’s Court Theatre and in numerous films and commercials.  Diane has directed her 90-minute Shakespeare adaptations (published by Smith & Kraus), as well as numerous new plays and several alternative soundscapes including Whirl of the Divine and Assenting Angels for the Indianapolis Spirit & Place Festival and Lamentations and Pandora’s Box at Butler University where she teaches acting and voice.

Diane’s latest book is Spare Scenes: 60 Skeletal Scenes for Acting and Directing (published by Heinemann).  Diane voice coaches actors, television personalities, business executives, teachers, preachers and school children.  She enjoys meeting international theatre artists all over the globe and developing cultural exchanges.  Affiliations include: Actors’ Equity Association, SAG, AFTRA, VASTA.
