Elena McGhee
ELENA MCGHEE is an Actor, Vocal Coach and a Designated Linklater Instructor. BA Theatre Arts: University of Massachusetts. She attended Classic Stage Company’s 2-year Acting Conservatory. Studio Dante and Wynn Handman is her acting muse.
Recent teaching appointments include: Sarah Lawrence College, Fordham University Lincoln Center, Syracuse University Tepper Semester, The Eugene Lang College at The New School, Stella Adler Academy (Hollywood), NYU Cap 21, ACT: Guest Artist, Harlem School of the Arts, Shakespeare & Company and The Linklater Center in NYC. She also has a private coaching practice and her clients have appeared on Broadway, Film and Television.
Ms. McGhee’s acting credits in NYC include: (Off-Broadway) Mirror Repertory @ Julia Miles Theatre, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Classic Stage Company, Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Ontological Hysteric Theatre; Subjective Theatre Company, QED Productions @ Hudson Guild. Los Angeles: LA Women’s Shakespeare Company and The Odyssey Theatre; Boston: The New Rep, The Nora Theatre, and the Worcester Foothills. TV/Film: Louie, Oral Fixation, Motion Sickness, Get Faamous, Chicken, Paradise, Heights. Elena is a founding member of a new theatre company: Grand Union Theatre: G.U.T. along with Director Edwin Sherin.
