Linda received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Boston University, School for the Arts. She is currently the Head of Acting in the B.A. Theatre Arts program at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she also serves as voice coach and directs. Linda has also been on the faculty of California State University, Long Beach, teaching voice in the MFA program, and at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Guest Lecturer and Guest Artist positions include The Actors’ Center in London, Wellesley College, Wellesley College Summer Theatre and numerous others. A working SAG, AFTRA, and AEA actor, Linda’s acting credits include the AFI, American Film Institute Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, and Slamdance Film Festival. Among her extensive theatre credits are the critically acclaimed Los Angeles Womens Shakespeare Company, New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, and Boston’s Shear Madness at the Charles Playhouse and in Southern California, The Laguna Playhouse and Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts, among others. Linda is also the Artistic Director of the Southern California Shakespeare Festival, an AEA company in residence at Cal Poly, Pomona.
Linda offers private coaching in Los Angeles for TV, Film, and Theatre, in the areas of Voice, Dialects, Acting, Auditioning, Text Work (both Shakespeare and contemporary) and Accent Reduction for actors and corporate clients. She has coached actors for the Broadway productions of Cabaret and Nine, as well as numerous productions on the West Coast. Linda has worked for feature films and television on set as a dialect coach, and in post-production ADR sessions. She currently coaches series-regulars on TV, working actors of all levels for theatre, TV and film, as well as actors for individual auditions.
