Brent Blair

BRENT BLAIR has been teaching since 1991.  He taught acting and voice/text classes under Kristin Linklater’s direction with Paula Langton at Emerson College in 1991.  He combines Image Theatre work with a depth psychological approach (Jungian) as teaching the classic progression.  He also works with Phonetic Pillows (developed by Louis Colaianni) and teaches accents and dialects.  Brent has vocal coached and taught in the USC BFA Actor Training Program since 1994, and has taught workshops around the world.

He is also a Theatre of the Oppressed practitioner and teaches voice to community members and non-actors as a process of personal and collective liberation.
