JUDITH SHAHN has been a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher since 1991. She has been the head of voice at The University of Washington’s Professional Actor Training Program since 1990. In addition, Judith is one of the leading dialect/vocal coaches in the Northwest. She has coached extensively with The Seattle Repertory Theatre and Intiman Theatre. An actor, director and writer, Judith sang with a jazz trio called “The Bad Math Quarter”. She has been inspired to sing from many sources and it is her interest to continue to find the link between the speaking and singing voice. She has lived in Seattle for twenty years and is married to Jay and is the proud mother of fifteen-year old Ella.
