Ken Cheeseman

Ken Cheeseman has been acting and teaching for over 35 years.  His work is greatly influenced by his teachers: Keith Johnstone (author of Impro for Storytellers), Larry Arrick and Suzanne Shepard (founding members of The Compass Theatre), Andrei Belgrader (Master Acting teacher and Director) and, of course, Kristin Linklater ( author of Freeing the Natural Voice).  Ken is a Senior Artist-in-Residence at Emerson College.  His acting career begin at Trinity Rep, where he also attended their conservatory program and he has performed at regional theatres all around the US.

Recent credits include Dr. Faustus at CSC with Chris Noth, The Master Builder at BAM with John Turturro, The Cherry Orchard at CSC with Dianne Weist and John Turturro, in the premiere of Winnie Holzman’s Choice at the Huntington Theatre.  On film and television his recent credits include Joy with Jennifer Lawrence, Comedy Central’s Time Traveling Bong with Ilana Glazer and the Emmy Award winning miniseries Olive Kitteridge opposite Fran Macdormand and Richard Jenkins.
