Lisa Anne Porter has been a designated Linklater voice teacher since 2003.  She has a BA in Theatre and American Studies from Wesleyan University and an MFA from the American Conservatory Theatre.  She is a professional Equity and SAG actress with years of regional theatre and Shakespeare festival experience.  She is currently teaching, coaching and acting in the Bay Area where she teaches in the MFA, Studio and STC programs at the American Conservatory Theatre, the MFA and BFA programs at UCDavis, and the MFA and BFA programs at the Academy of Art University.  She was an associate professor of voice, acting and text in the BFA program at Syracuse University, and has taught master voice and text workshops for Naropa University, California Shakespeare Festival, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, UCSF and Shakespeare & Company.  In addition to acting and teaching, Lisa is a vocal/dialect coach for over thirty productions and a professional director.

She is available for private coaching, production coaching and workshops in voice, text, acting and dialect.
