Robert is the Director of Training & Education at The Barrow Group, an Off-Broadway Theatre Company. He teaches voice and speech at The Actors Studio Pace University MFA Program and Emerson College, and has taught acting, Shakespeare, combat, voice and speech at Brandeis University, Shakespeare & Co, NJ Performing Arts Center and Barrington Stage Co. Robert has directed several shows with the Shakespeare & Co Education Program, where he was first introduced to Linklater voice work in 2001. As a vocal coach, he has worked on the feature documentary “Code of the West”, The Wharton Salon’s Summer, and several productions with Shakespeare & Company.

In New York City, Robert performed in The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other (OBIE Award Winner: Best Special Work) and Jig Saw at the Dawn-Powell Off-Broadway Festival. He has also performed with several regional theatres: Shakespeare & Company, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Barrington Stage, Williamstown Theatre Festival, SpeakEasy Stage, Actors Shakespeare Project, Publick Theatre, Clarence Brown Theatre, and Stoneham Theatre. On screen, Robert has performed in several independent films including Dancer and Avarice. Robert is a member of Actors’ Equity Association, the Screen Actors Guild, and the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
